Summer's the perfect time for sweet, refreshing treats, especially on those hot evenings. One of my top picks is a chilled, revitalizing snack that I totally recommend you try.

To prepare for your delightful fruit ice pops, begin by gathering all the necessary ingredients and tools to ensure a smooth and enjoyable process. First, you will need a large glass mixing bowl and spoon.

For the sweetener, choose either agave nectar or honey, depending on your preference. Agave nectar is a plant-based sweetener that has a mild flavor and a low glycemic index, making it a popular choice for those who are health-conscious. Honey, on the other hand, offers a rich, floral sweetness that can enhance the overall flavor of the fruit. Whichever you choose, make sure to have it ready to drizzle over the fruits for added sweetness.

You will also need one fresh lemon. This citrus fruit is not only flavorful but also serves a dual purpose: it adds a zesty brightness to the pops as well as a tartness it also prevent the fruits from browning. Be sure to roll the lemon on the countertop before cutting it to release its juices more easily, and have a juicer or a small bowl ready to catch the juice.

Next, gather one cup of fresh blueberries. These tiny berries are packed with antioxidants and add a burst of sweetness and color. When selecting blueberries, look for ones that are plump and firm, with a deep blue hue. Rinse them gently under cold water before adding them to your bowl to remove any dirt or impurities.

Additionally, you'll need two whole sweet kiwis. These exotic fruits not only contribute a unique flavor profile but also provide a lovely contrast in texture with their fuzzy skin and juicy green flesh. When preparing the kiwis, use a sharp knife to slice off both ends, then carefully peel the skin away to reveal the vibrant interior. Cut the kiwis into bite-sized pieces for easy mixing and eating.

With all your ingredients assembled and prepared, you are now ready to create a delicious and refreshing fruit pops...I also forgot to share how you will need a popsicle mold of your choice. I used one from target I purchase years ago.

Whether it be a summer picnic, a family gathering, or simply a nutritious snack. The combination of sweet and tangy flavors, along with the beautiful colors of the fruits, will surely delight your taste buds and impress your guests.
