Last Summer I fell in love with a dress I saw on Pinterest. So, I was determine to make my own. I went on a hunt to find a pattern that was similar to the summer dress style I was looking for. After posing the question to my Instagram family. One of my dear buddies shared that MIMI G Style had a dress pattern and video tutorial to create the dress I wanted. The dress is called "The Jessica" So off I went, purchase and download and boom took me a while to make. But not because of the pattern but because I am a mom so mommy life takes over and a weekend project becomes a month project . Now I am done and right on time too! I mean have you seen the beautiful weather outside. I order my fabric online it was a soft linen and I will be ordering more in black this week. I need it in Black and Green. On this version I didn’t add the front facing pockets. I will definitely add them on my next Make.
The video and the directions were to the point. I consider myself a intermediate beginner. The video omg she nailed it . It felt like she was chilling next to me saying "you got this boo" Here is the video link https://youtu.be/CtVTK9HV0Rs I don't know MIMI G personally but she is doing amazing things. I will be trying another one of her patterns. I can appreciate that she makes her patterns fear to real size women!
